Description:

Tobacco pipe made of porcelain with high cylindrical stummel bowl, knob heel and straight stem with five windings. Bowl front in rectangle with gold leaf frame hand painted bust of a man looking to the front in military uniform with upright embroidered collar, sash over the chest and striped belly band. Heel intaglio size number "8" and stem end under glaze blue stripe. Silver valve cover with flat lid with ball as closure, lid internal label with handwritten collection number "264". Original mounting with porcelain moisture trap with slender slightly curved shape and gold rims around the openings, a wooden stop to protect the bowl, rising stem with silver ferrule with round shape on the front embossed oval on which crowned gothic initial "L", bent buffalo horn mouthpiece with button.
