Tabakspijp van gietklei met holwandige cilindrische ketel met vlakke onderzijde, zonder hiel en oplopende steel verwijdend tot manchet. Ketel voorzijde transfer in rood, blauw en goud met flesetiket waarop "ANNO 1865, HAMM'S BEER, AMERICAS CLASSIC PREMIUM BEER BORN IN THE LAND OF SKY BLUE WATERS". Ketel onderzijde stempel in zwart "PATENT CMTX (in vierkant) PENDING". Ketel inwendig messingdraad gaasje. Oorspronkelijke montage met zwart plastic roer met afgeplatte beet.

Commentaire
Hamm's Brewery in 1865 gesticht in St. Paul, Minnesota, later uitgebrreid naar andere steden als San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston en Baltimore. In 1965 overgenomen door Heublein en in 1971 opnieuw doorverkocht. De pijp zou ter gelegenheid van het eerste eeuwfeest gemaakt kunnen zijn.
