Description:

Tabakspijp van klei met ovale ketel en hiel. Filtradering. Ketel steelzijde in reliëf gekroond wapenschild van Gouda binnen tekstlint "PERASPERA ADASTRA" gehouden door staande gekroonde leeuwen geplaatst op een lambrequin met servetwerk. Ketel keerzijde gekroond wapenschild van Amsterdam met doornenkrans. Hiel links bijmerk Gouds wapenschild.

Vgl. APM 1.774 dezelfde pijp gemaakt door Simon/Pieter Boot. De persvorm voor deze pijp gaat naar Pieter Goedewaagen over. Het wapen van Amsterdam wordt over dat van Gouda gegraveerd.
